BANKING & FINANCE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE, LONDON The Firm Our client is a leading international legal practice who offers a full business law service from offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The firm comprises over 1000 lawyers and 250 partners operating from over 21 offices. The firm is particularly strong in corporate finance, financial institutions, energy and infrastructure, transport and technology. The Role The Global Dispute Resolution Group of this firm is one of the first choice practices for the complex, high-value international work of global corporations and financial institutions. There is particular expertise in financial services, insurance, energy and infrastructure, construction, and transport. The Banking disputes practice works with the world's leading financial institutions on a broad range of complex problems and disputes which arise in the global market. In addition to more traditional banking disputes, the firm has particular strengths in disputes involving derivatives and structured finance and Islamic financing. The Candidate The firm is currently recruiting an associate to join the dispute resolution department as a banking and finance litigator. Candidates will ideally have a minimum of four years relevant experience. The candidate should have experience of complex banking disputes with an expertise in derivatives, debt capital markets and structured products. Knowledge of the ISDA Master Agreement would be preferable. A strong academic background and sound litigation experience from a leading banking and finance practice is essential.
